Cloud Surface PU Acoustic Diffusers

A shaped reflective surface for room-acoustic design. The cloud diffuser uses a continuous sculpted profile and a modular perimeter, making it suitable for planned wall or ceiling arrays.

Application

Where it belongs.

Consider diffusion when the room design calls for redistributing reflected sound, rather than simply covering more surfaces with absorption. Placement, array size and the distance from listeners must be reviewed as part of the room design.

Typical spaces

  • Recording control rooms
  • Private cinemas
  • Hi-fi listening rooms and music spaces

Keep the function clear

A diffuser is not a sound barrier or a bass trap. This page does not claim a measured diffusion bandwidth. Request the relevant test data and a project placement review before specifying performance.

Inspect the surface. Then plan the array.

The blue sample shows the manufactured form. The colour visualization above and this sample are different finishes, not different acoustic ratings.

Confirm the final colour with a physical sample. Wall and ceiling mounting must suit the substrate and the project fixing detail.

Project checklist

Before ordering

  1. Send room dimensions, listener positions and speaker locations.
  2. Identify the proposed wall or ceiling zone and available depth.
  3. Confirm the substrate, fixing method, module count and finish sample.

Make the next decision with the right information.

Content reviewed 19 October 2026 against the current product catalogue. Custom dimensions, samples and small-batch ordering are confirmed for the PET and fabric-wrapped PET ranges. Ask for the product-specific specification and matching test documents. Product details and application concepts are identified in the captions.
