In a landmark adaptive reuse project, AcouSonic co-engineered parametrically designed polyester fiber panels with Gensler’s acoustics team.
Using robotic milling and CNC thermoforming, the panels integrate variable density cores and micro-perforated facades to target 125–4000 Hz speech intelligibility bands.
The solution reduced retrofit noise transmission by 32 dB while preserving historic façade integrity—setting a new benchmark for heritage-acoustic integration.
